All Gritwell leather goods are designed to go with you, get roughed up, develop character, and get better with age. Only through use will your goods become As Original As Your Roots.
As with all things that go the long haul our leather goods take some time to break in.
Leather hides are a natural material that will vary in color, texture, finish and natural markings. While we strive to accurately represent Gritwell products in our product photography, actual representations may vary.
At this time, Gritwell is not accepting custom orders.
Gritwell is not a leather goods repair shop. We will repair items that we have crafted, but not items outside of our brand.
Gritwell leather goods will arrive with a light coat of wax from the tannery. Products should be treated under your discretion as they age and patina. We recommend a light coat of leather balm or conditioner; your Handkerchief works great as an applicator. We Do Not recommend any liquid based oils, such as mink oil because it may alter the leather color or soak into the stitching.
Gritwell Handkerchiefs should be hand washed and line dried whenever possible. While it is recommended that Handkerchiefs be hand washed, it is acceptable to machine wash with like colors. However, we Do Not recommend tumble drying.
While we design Gritwell products to go the long haul, we offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturers defects. If any problems occur during this period, please submit your warranty request to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Warranty" in the subject line. We will then review your warranty claim and follow up with you promptly.

All Gritwell products will be processed within 3-5 days after order is placed, unless specified. Orders will be shipped through USPS. A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped. Gritwell is not responsible for customs fees or lost/stolen international shipments.

Returns & Exchanges: Gritwell accepts returns for store credit only. Credits are not redeemable for cash. Credit does not expire. Items must be in original condition (unused & unworn) with all original tags and packaging intact, or they may be refused. Items may be exchanged for items of equal or lesser value.
If your return meets this criteria, please submit your return request to email@example.com with "Return" in the subject line.
Please note, return shipping costs will be the customers responsibility unless the reason for return is our error. Please use shipping methods that offer insurance and tracking. We are not able to offer refunds for goods lost in transit. Return processing and/or any refund will be processed within 3 days of delivery.
